PTO DRIVE SHAFTS

With standard PTO drive shafts there is a joint with a recommended working angle of 25° on the tractor/mover site as well as on the working machine site. This type of PTO is most commonly used with working machines which are carried, where there is an even joint angle or an angle which varies up to 7°. For example: rakes, mowers, winches, tedders, spreyers...

WIDE-ANGLE JOINT ON ONE SITE (DZ)

DZ is a wide-angle PTO drive shaft type, where there is a wide-angle joint on one site, with a recommended working angle till 70°. The wide-angle joint is used at the site, where the working angle exceeds 25°, under the condition, that the working angle on the other site isn't greater than 5°. The wide-angle joint can be mounted on the tractor site with all PTO types. The attaching of a wide-angle joint on the working machine site is only recommend with BR and BR+ types (without clutches). The attaching of a clutch on the tractor site is not recommended because it can lead to an irregular power transmission. Example of usage: forage wagon, manure spreader, slurry spreaders, round balers, rear-mounted mowers with central hanging...

WIDE-ANGLE JOINTS ON BOTH SITES (DZ DZ)

DZ DZ is a wide-angle PTO drive shaft type, where there are wide-angle joint on both sites, with a recommended working angle till 70°. This type of PTO is used when it comes to larger working angles as those prescribed for the other two types above. If there is a clutch on a DZ DZ PTO it is always mounted on the working machine site. Examples of usage: trailed sprayers, large square balers, lateral flail mowers, forage wagon, slurry mixer...
